Lary Stucker

Lary Stucker

I’m Lary Stucker, a former Eisner-nominated comic book artist with a long career at Marvel, DC, and Image Comics. Over the years, I had the privilege of working on more than 500 titles, helping bring to life the stories of Spider-Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, the Avengers, Batman, Wonder Woman, and many others. My job was to serve the story, the script, and the fans, and I loved it.

But life called me away from the drafting table. I stepped back from comics to help raise our family alongside my wife, Karisa Lee, an amazing artist herself. That pause gave me time to reflect. And now, years later, I’ve returned to art with a new purpose.

Today, I’m pursuing fine art painting with a beginner’s heart and a storyteller’s eye. Each painting is part of a deeper journey. I’m learning to see again, discovering what moves me, and letting the brush lead the way. My background in comics still shows up in my painting, in the movement, the energy, and the way each piece tells a story. I haven’t fully found my voice as a fine artist yet, and it excites me to see how all those years of visual storytelling will shape my style as it grows.

This is a new chapter. It’s personal, vulnerable, and full of hope. Whether you’ve followed my comics work for years or you’re just now discovering my art, thank you for being here. I invite you to follow along as I grow, explore, and create in this next phase of life and art.
